Madhya Pradesh, located in the centre of India, is the second largest State covering an area of 3,08,000 sq. km. It is bounded by Uttar Pradesh on the north; by Chhattisgarh on the east; by Gujarat and Rajasthan on the west; and by Maharashtra on the south. Its natural beauty is filled with all types of geographical structures ranging from hills, plains and plateaus to the rivers and lush green forests.
